The sciatica sufferers can only understand the intensity of pain as well as symptoms. It is difficult to figure out that anyone is suffering from sciatica as its symptoms can divert our mind towards different diseases. The symptom of sciatica is like a combination of symptoms that keeps the person uncomfortable. One can feel pain in the leg, lower back and foot also get affected by the compression or if any of the five nerves get irritated then also problem of sciatic nerve can start. 1. Aching
When there is sciatic problem then pain is the most common symptom of this problem. One can feel pain at any part of the body with the passage way of nerve. It is difficult to define the intensity of the pain because it varies from person to person like it can be light or intense pain in the legs or lower back. Usually sufferer defines it as they are experiencing an electric shock. It is possible that one can feel pain in leg, calf, buttock, lower back pain and also the muscles get weak.
2. Numbness
Sciatic irritation and compression are also responsible for developing the symptoms of numbness and weakness of muscles. It is another common symptom that sufferers can feel. One can experience the pinch with the pain and due to numbness in feet and lower leg the person feels no sensation in it.
3. Issues of Bowel and Bladder Control
When sciatica gets worst then there is a chance that complicated symptoms can occur such as bladder or bowel control problems. If a person is facing this symptom in that he must consult a doctor for suggestion on sciatic nerve pain relief. The problem of bladder or bowel control occurs if a person is suffering from Cauda equine syndrome. It is a neurological problem which occurs when lumbar plexus stop working properly. The prognosis or surgery is the only options to get rid of Cauda equina syndrome but it is better to perform it as soon as possible after diagnosis of the symptom.
4. Medical Assistance
If sciatica is mild in that case it gets better with time without any medical treatment. On the other hand, if the symptoms of sciatic like pain increases and last for more than seven days in that case it needs medical assistance. There is no doubt its symptoms can get worst and intense too.

The sciatica symptoms vary from person to person and that’s why its treatment will be different for every sciatic sufferer. For instance, if the person is suffering from mild to moderate pain in that case sufferer can take medicines which are available over-the-counters. If the sufferer is facing severe symptoms in that case surgery as well as prescribed medicines is considered best for this problem.
